WX-TROPL is a mailing list hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It provides current warnings, advisories and other products from the various meteorological agencies with an interest in tropical cyclones. It also hosts archives of these products since May 2006. It is a freely available subscription service.
Subscribing[]
To sign up to the mailing list visit this page. You need to provide a valid email address and set your various options. You also need to select what products you wish to receive (defaults to all products). Once you have filled all this out, click the Join WX-TROPL button.
To leave the mailing list, you need to visit the same page and instead click the Leave WX-TROPL button.
Archives[]
- The archive pages are separated by week. Within each week, the data is further broken down to list each product type separately. The individual messages are stored on distinct pages with permanent URLs, so can be used as citations elsewhere.
