I am thinking of joining Wikiproject Tropical Cyclones, but I'm afraid that if I ask in public people will rip me to shreds and leave my still warm body twitching on the ground, slowly bleeding to death. Or not, but still, if anyone EVER sees this (doubt it), please help.

Hello people! Since I became addicted to all things having about, eh, 5 or 6 percent relation to weather, I've also become even MORE addicted to 'Canes. I'm the kind of person who will remain absolutely glued to the screen when the History Channel (God I hate that channel [yet I still watch it]) presents their non-weather person special on the Labor Day Hurricane. Even though they had their facts wrong. I am also the kind of person who will not even consider buying a product based on the fact that they A) listed Andrew with "135" (are those knots or mph?! Both are wrong wrong wrong!) B) Put Hugo as stronger than Andrew and C) got almost all of the other wind speeds wrong (Camille did not have 165 mph OR knot winds). I almost complained to the management.

So, after a brief stint on Wikipedia (RED LINE?!) which ended when someone used my account before I could (probably left myself logged in on my computer and someone else hijacked it. Like, three times or something. I can't be that stupid, can I? BTW, it's Squarethecircle. Please pay no attention to the contribs. They aren't mine. I'm serious.). So I came here after noticing the little announcement on Wikipedia saying that discussion went here, so I went there, and started talking and, deciding I wouldn't embarrass myself too much, bookmarked it. I would really, really be happy if you post them on the talk page. Because otherwise I have to check JTWC 5 times every 4 minutes even though the next report comes out in more than 2 hours. Or watch the History Channel (God no!).

So lets summarize:

I don't like Wikipedia much (user-wise)

I have no life (until the end of summer)

I hate the History Channel

I hate people who have incorrect hurricane info (grrr....)

I am more addicted to weather than I am to eating (I really would rather sit on the edge of my seat waiting for the update on a very poor looking INVEST than eat)

I love photography almost as much as weather (I didn't tell you that?!)

I cannot write large pieces of text about myself (true)

Also, most of you already know this, but I apologize way too much. It has to do with the fact that there are several thousand rumors being spread right now relating to me. <mumble> You put your head down in class 5 or 6 times and suddenly you're "emotional" </mumble>.
